The Fanteakwa North District Assembly first conducted a needs assessment from all the various councils and continued with a Public Hearing on the Draft District Medium-Term Development Plan 2026-2029 to consider the view of its stakeholders on the draft plan.
The team that comprises of the District planning officer, Education PRO, Technical officer from the Physical planning Department, District Budget Analyst embark on visitation of various councils for need assessment input and views.
After that public hearing was held at the District Assembly Conference room to engage stakeholders.
Participants at the programme included the District Chief Executive Hon. Osumanu Abubakar , District Coordinating Director Mr. Daniel Tetteh , Presiding Member Hon Kingsley Agyarko , Assembly Members, Heads of Departments and Unit Committee Members. Also present were Traditional Leaders, Religious Leaders, Youth Groups and Civil Society Organisations.
